About
The Department of Business Administration is one of the departments of the Institute of Administration and Economics. It strives to take the lead and make skilfulness its motto. It relies on the skills and capability of its teaching staff to provide the highest quality of education.
The Department will provide training to the students and try to familiarise them with numerous administration subjects such as Human Resource Management, Material Management, Finance and Self Management, Company Management, and how to lead businesses and projects so that the students can improve their intellect, gain the ability to analyse and make decisions effectively and successfully plan for their future.
Outputs:
After completing the requirements for studying business administration, students are expected to achieve the targeted outputs as follows:
1. The ability to understand and know the basics of management science with its various variables and branches.
2. The ability to translate administrative theories into practical study cases, as well as understand and know the nature and importance of the variables that affect the functioning of the administrative process.
3. The ability to develop plans to manage administrative and production processes.
4. The ability to use some electronic programmes and systems.
5. The ability to analyse the initial information of administrative operations and the speed of linking the interpretation of results and analyses to take the appropriate decision at the right time.
6. The ability to supervise and manage work teams.
7. The ability to prepare and write research and reports.
We are committed to equip our students with knowledge, skills and specialisations required in the field of business administration sciences in a way that makes them able to manage business organisations and achieve success in that regard.
Objectives:
1. Awarding successful students Diplomas Degree of Science in Business Administration.
2. Developing students’ abilities and skills to use information technology and quantitative methods in practice.
3. Developing the relationship with the labour market, public sector institutions and the private sector.
4. Develop creative and innovative skills for students to help them take administrative decisions in a sound scientific manner.
5. Follow up on students’ affairs, support them and maintain their continuity of study.
6. Providing an appropriate academic environment for teaching and learning.
